How long does delivery take?

We are based in Portlaoise, Ireland. All orders are dispatched within 1-2 working days. Delivery usually takes:

  • Ireland - An Post Express (1-2 Working Days)
  • Northern Ireland - DPD Tracked (1-2 Working Days)
  • United Kingdom - An Post Express (3-5 Working Days)
  • Europe - An Post Express (3-5 Working Days)
  • Rest of World - An Post Express (4-6 Working Days)

Shipping times are based from date of postage. This includes tracked shipping.

To keep things running smoothly, we want to let you know that during this busy period (Black Friday and the following week), delivery times might take a little longer than usual. Please allow 2-4 days for your order to be fulfilled as our team works hard to get everything out as quickly as possible.

How much does delivery cost?

Fada offers free delivery for all orders over €75 in Ireland / £75 in UK / €100 Rest of World. Orders below will come with delivery charge of

"I want to return my purchase"

We've extended our return policy to 30-days for the Christmas season - valid for all orders up to the 6th of January.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it unworn or unused. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Return shipping fees are the customer's responsibility for domestic and international returns. Please be aware before purchasing that we cannot refund shipping if you have returned an item to us.

To start the return of your order please log in to your account via our website. Enter the email address that you used to place your order & click continue.

You will be sent a code which will enable you to log into your account.

Here you will see your order & be able to request a return.

You will receive an email to confirm your request along with a Return Form which must be included with your return.

Refunds / Exchanges

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

In the event that an order is lost in transit due to an error in the delivery address provided by the customer, we regret to inform you that we cannot offer a refund for the lost package. This policy is in place to ensure that we can continue to provide high-quality products and services to our customers while maintaining a fair and sustainable business practice.

We strongly recommend our customers to double-check their delivery information before placing an order to avoid any inconvenience and disappointment caused by lost packages. If an error in the delivery address is detected after placing an order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible to update the information. However, we cannot guarantee that the order can be redirected or recovered after it has been dispatched.

"I want to track my order"

If you have received a tracking number it means that your order has been dispatched.

In the event the tracking number does not work, it could be due to it not being loaded on to the DPD/An Post database. Check back after 6pm on same day and if it's still not showing please contact us at support@fadajewellers.com  

"I haven't received my order"

If your order has not been delivered two weeks from dispatch date please contact us at support@fadajewellers.com. We cannot assist unless it has been two weeks since the dispatch date, as often order become delayed especially during holidays and with international deliveries.

"I think my order may be lost"

If you are worried that your goods have been lost at some point on their journey to you, please contact us directly. Double check you have entered the correct address at the checkout as we cannot replace or refund products that have been sent to the wrong address.

We deliver all over the world. If the country you are based in is not showing at checkout, please email us at support@fadajewellers.com.

Can I send my order to an alternative address?

Of course, just enter the alternative delivery address into the delivery address section before you check out. If it is a gift that you are sending to the alternative address, you can also add a note to the order before you check out.

All Fada necklaces and bracelets are currently 316L Stainless Steel / 24K Gold Plated.

All Fada rings are currently Sterling Silver / Gold Plated.

Necklaces are 18 inches with extension (5cm).

Bracelets are 18 cm with extension (3cm).

Ring sizes can be found on product pages.

Does sterling silver tarnish?

In short, yes - tarnishing is a natural process for all silver. Exposure to harsh chemicals, swimming in pools or the ocean, and specific climates, especially with high humidity or proximity to the ocean, can contribute to tarnishing.

Why does silver tarnish?

Technically, pure silver doesn't tarnish, but it's not durable enough for jewellery. We blend it with copper, as indicated by the "925" engraving on the back, representing 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Tarnishing occurs due to the copper content.

How long does it take for sterling silver to tarnish?

The timeline for tarnishing varies based on factors such as chemical exposure, swimming, and beauty product usage. Optimal care, including avoiding harsh conditions, extends its lifespan.

How to prevent sterling silver from tarnishing?
